Family Of NJ Teen Killed In Cop-Involved Crash Files Wrongful Death Suit

The family of Deanna D’Arco, a 19-year-old killed in a 2024 crash involving an on-duty Franklin Borough police sergeant, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the officer and the department. The suit alleges Sergeant William Grissom was driving at an unsafe speed and failed to account for altered traffic conditions caused by a Memorial Day parade, months after a grand jury declined to bring criminal charges against him.
