Dead Body Found In North Jersey River, Officials Say

A body was recovered from the Passaic River near the Monroe Street Bridge in Passaic on Thursday morning, according to fire officials. The body, believed to be a man, had been in the water for an extended period and was turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office while the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office investigates.
