Cop Who Shot Unarmed NJ College Athlete Dead Charged, Officials Say

A Pennsylvania police officer has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in the August 23 shooting death of Glenwood “Bubba” Pysher, a 22-year-old Saint Elizabeth University baseball player who had his hands raised when he was shot twice in the chest. Upper Pottsgrove Corporal Sean Farrell turned himself in on Tuesday and is awaiting arraignment; investigators say Pysher was unarmed and that Farrell had less-than-lethal options available that he did not use.
