Community Rallies To Lift Historic Boat House On Navesink River

A September nor’easter partially submerged the historic Monmouth Boat Club Boat House on the Navesink River, and now Friends of the Monmouth Boat Club is raising funds to physically lift the structure so it can better withstand future flooding. The GoFundMe has a $10,000 goal, with $200 raised as of Monday, for a building that sits on the National Register of Historic Places and is listed among New Jersey’s 2025 ten most endangered historic sites.
