Bridgeton Man Rapes 12-Year-Old Girl, Officials Say

A 35-year-old Bridgeton man, Alex Torres-Lopez, pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated sexual assault after repeatedly raping a 12-year-old girl he met through Roblox and Snapchat in 2025. Prosecutors are recommending a 20-year sentence without parole, and Torres-Lopez will face lifetime parole supervision and sex offender registration under Megan’s Law.
