Boy's Body Found In NJ River, Search For Girl Underway, Officials Say

A 10-year-old boy drowned in the Passaic River Wednesday evening after three children entered the water near Dundee Island Park, with his 11-year-old sister surviving in part because he pushed her toward shore as he was sinking. Search efforts for their 10-year-old friend, still missing, continued into Thursday evening with multiple fire and rescue departments working the river.
