6 Smash-And-Grab Jewelry Store Robbers Caught After Multiple Brazen Heists In North Jersey, Authorities Say
Six men from Newark and Paterson have been arrested for a string of smash-and-grab jewelry store robberies across New Jersey, Staten Island, and New York that date back to at least summer 2025. Two of the suspects were caught partly thanks to blood they left behind on broken glass during a Paterson heist, and investigators also found a telling photo on one suspect’s cloud storage showing him holding cash while sporting a bandaged hand. Each of the six faces up to 20 years in federal prison and fines of up to $250,000.
