3 Tornado Touchdowns Confirmed In NJ, Storm Surveys Show
Three tornadoes touched down across New Jersey on Tuesday, with confirmed touchdowns in Stanhope, Montville (near Pine Brook), and Cape May Point, all within a few hours of each other. No major injuries have been reported, though the storms left a trail of downed trees, power lines, and property damage. The Cape May Point twister was rated EF-0 with winds peaking at 60 to 70 mph, and surveys on the other two are still being finalized.
