3 Massive Companies Announce NJ Layoffs
Three major corporations, Meta, Johnson & Johnson, and Prudential Insurance, have filed WARN notices indicating a combined 183 New Jersey employees will be laid off between July 17 and August 21. Meta is cutting 74 positions statewide, J&J is trimming 56 roles at its New Brunswick headquarters as it steps back from its orthopedics business, and Prudential is reducing its Newark workforce by 53 as part of an ongoing review of its operations.
