2 Morris County Bridges Getting Replaced: See Roadwork Details

Two bridges on Pleasant Hill Road near Flanders Valley Golf Course are getting replaced, closing that stretch to through traffic for about four months starting Monday after morning rush hour. The older of the two dates to 1900 and has serious rust and structural deterioration, while the 1940 bridge has similar issues plus voids in its foundation. Morris County has the $2.61 million job contracted out to Konkus Corporation, with detour routes mapped out separately for regular drivers and trucks.
