2 Boating Crashes, 3 Deaths In 6 Days At The Jersey Shore

Three people have died in two separate boating crashes on Barnegat Bay within six days, both involving boats striking Intracoastal Waterway channel markers at night. Among the victims were two young children, ages 7 and 9, and a 26-year-old man, with several others hospitalized following the crashes. New Jersey State Police and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office are urging boaters to use caution on the waterways while investigations continue.
