100+ Homemade Bombs Found In Morris Co. Home, Prosecutors Say

A Denville man was arrested this week after investigators found more than 100 homemade explosives, blasting caps, firearms, and ammunition in his home and a shed on Avondale Road. Joseph Rizos, 37, faces charges including recklessly risking widespread injury and four counts of possession of destructive devices, with authorities saying they believe he had been running the operation since 2025.
