The Morristown & Morris Township Library’s Virtual Classics Book Club meets on Zoom the evening of Thursday, September 10 (7:00 to 8:00 p.m.) to dig into Betty Smith’s “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn,” a coming-of-age novel that has made generations of readers quietly cry on public transportation. The club is open to everyone, resident or not, which is either the library’s most inclusive policy or a clever strategy to fill a Zoom room.
