(ZOOM) Highlights of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's American Wing

@ Morristown & Morris Township Library

The Met has been collecting American work since the 1870s. In 1924, its American Wing opened, providing a special focus and celebration of these objects, some of its most beloved pieces. Join our speaker Mallory Mortillaro for this presentation.

The Met has been collecting American art since the 1870s, and when its American Wing opened in 1924, it gave those pieces, paintings, decorative objects, furniture, and the rest, a proper home of their own. On Tuesday, July 7 at 7:00 p.m., speaker Mallory Mortillaro will walk you through the highlights of that collection via Zoom, no subway ride or $30 suggested donation required. It runs an hour, registration gets you the link, and you can attend in your pajamas without us judging you one bit. Sign up through the Morristown and Morris Township Library’s event page.
