This one’s happening on Zoom, so you can attend in your pajamas while pretending you’re a serious art appreciator. On September 10 at 7:00 PM, presenter Mary Vahey walks through how Frida Kahlo went from Mexican modernist painter to global cultural phenomenon, the kind of figure whose face ends up on tote bags, postage stamps, and the walls of every college dorm simultaneously. It’s part of the library’s Hispanic Heritage Month programming, and it runs about an hour. Registration gets you the event link, so sign up through the Morristown and Morris Township Library’s website before the evening arrives.
