The Morristown & Morris Township Library is running a film series to mark the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, and tonight’s pick is Roland Emmerich’s The Patriot (2000). Mel Gibson plays a reluctant former soldier dragged back into the fight to protect his family, with Heath Ledger and Jason Isaacs along for the ride. It’s rated R, admission is free, doors open at 6:15 PM, and the screening runs from 6:45 to 8:45 PM in the lower-level Meeting Room at 1 Miller Rd.
