The Morristown Library’s film series marking the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution rolls on with “1776” (1972), the screen adaptation of the Broadway musical about the Continental Congress wrestling with whether to actually go through with this whole independence thing. William Daniels and Howard da Silva lead the cast. The screening runs from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. in the lower-level Meeting Room at 1 Miller Rd, doors open at 6:15, light refreshments are served, and admission is free.
