The Water Gap Jazz Orchestra is back at the Morris Museum on December 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM, bringing a holiday double feature that’s a little more interesting than another performance of straight Tchaikovsky. The program pairs Duke Ellington’s iconic Nutcracker Suite with the orchestra’s own Grinch Suite, performed by a 17-piece big band made up of professional musicians from across the tri-state area. Vocalist Nancy Reed joins them, along with Edward Ellington II, Duke’s grandson, narrating. Member tickets go on sale July 13th, with general public sales opening July 20th.
