Pioneer Productions closes out its run of Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along with this final performance on June 28 at The Stage at Fellowship Hall inside Morristown United Methodist Church. The show works backwards through time, tracing the slow unraveling of a friendship between three artists as ambition and success chip away at their ideals. It’s a structure that sounds like a gimmick until it quietly wrecks you.
