Silent Book Club meets the first Sunday of every month from 2 to 3 pm in the F.M. Kirby Gallery upstairs at Morristown Library. The premise is refreshingly low-stakes: no assigned reading, no discussion, no performance anxiety about whether you finished the chapters. You show up, you read whatever you brought, and so does everyone else. Ebooks, audiobooks, comic books, the paperback you’ve been 40 pages into since March. Think of it as a happy hour for introverts, which is either the most relatable pitch we’ve ever heard or a direct description of our Sunday afternoons already.
