Scavenger Hunt: Seedy Business

Turns out spring gets all the seed credit while fall does the real work. Frelinghuysen Arboretum’s photo scavenger hunt “Seedy Business” makes the case that September is prime time to go looking, since plants are busy dropping seeds for birds, mammals, and apparently anyone willing to wander the grounds with a camera. Run through the hunt between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on September 17th, complete it, and you’ll walk away with a prize. Bring the kids, bring your phone, and bring a willingness to crouch in the dirt for a good seed photo.
