Turns out plants have been quietly nailing fall prep long before anyone made it a lifestyle trend. Many drop their seeds in autumn so they can acclimate to winter cold, and birds and mammals spend the season stashing them away like tiny, chaotic little hoarders. Frelinghuysen Arboretum is leaning into all of that with “Seedy Business,” a photo scavenger hunt that sends you out into the grounds to find seeds in the wild. Complete the hunt and you’ll walk away with a prize, which is honestly, wait, we can’t say that. You’ll walk away with a prize. It runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 16.
