Scavenger Hunt: Seedy Business

Turns out plants don’t wait for spring to do their thing. As fall rolls in, all kinds of seeds are dropping, getting cached by birds and squirrels, and generally running their own operation without any help from us. Frelinghuysen Arboretum is leaning into that with a photo scavenger hunt called “Seedy Business,” where the goal is to track down seeds hiding in plain sight across the grounds. Complete the hunt and you’ll walk away with a prize, which is more than most Saturday plans offer. It runs 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on September 12, so you’ve got a solid window to poke around at your own pace.
