While everyone’s busy associating spring with planting, trees and grasses have been quietly dropping seeds in the fall for millennia, letting them acclimate to winter cold while birds and squirrels squirrel them away (sorry). This photo scavenger hunt at Frelinghuysen Arboretum leans into that overlooked season, sending you around the grounds with your camera and a checklist.
