This one runs daily at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., so there’s no scrambling to catch a single window. The setup: fairies have apparently scattered clues through the gardens, under leaves, and along the trails, and it’s your job to track them down via a photo scavenger hunt. Finish the whole quest and you’ll earn what the listing calls a “fairy-approved prize,” which we’re choosing to take very seriously. Bring your camera, a kid who’s better at spotting things than you are, and the willingness to crouch under a shrub in front of strangers.
