The Friends of the Library book sale runs Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and this one sprawls across two spots: the permanent bookstore upstairs (over 10,000 books, DVDs, CDs, and puzzles at prices that make you feel slightly guilty) and the lower level meeting room with even more to dig through. Enter any library door at 1 Miller Rd and follow the signs. Bring cash or a check, bring a tote bag, and bring the self-control to not walk out with seventeen paperbacks you’ll swear you’ll read this winter. Future dates run through December, so you’ve got chances to pace yourself.
