Creedence Clearwater Revival never really went away, and Revisiting Creedence makes that case loud and clear. The band is built around Dan McGuinness on lead vocals and Kurt Griffey on lead guitar, both veterans of Creedence Clearwater Revisited alongside original CCR members Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford. Drummer Ron Wikso was hand-picked by Clifford himself to sub in that group, and bassist Mick Mahan spent more than 30 years touring with Pat Benatar before recording with John Fogerty.
