Qigong is a slow, flowing movement practice rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, sometimes called “Chinese Yoga,” and it focuses on stretching muscles and tendons while building awareness of the mind-body-breath connection. Think of it as Tai Chi’s close cousin, with meditation and visualization folded in. It runs every Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. through late September, upstairs in the F.M. Kirby Gallery at Morristown Library. No registration, no experience, and no particular fitness level required, so there’s genuinely no barrier to showing up, just yourself and maybe a willingness to move a little slower than your Saturday usually demands.
