Morristown Library’s tenth annual Pride Month Film Fest rolls on with a screening of “Desert Hearts,” Donna Deitch’s 1986 landmark. The film is adapted from Jane Rule’s novel “Desert of the Heart” and took home the Sundance Special Jury Prize, so it’s got the credentials to back up its reputation. Doors (well, the Meeting Room on the lower level) open for a 6:30 p.m. start on Wednesday, June 10, and the screening runs through 8:30 p.m. Stick around after the credits for an optional discussion, grab some refreshments, and bring a friend. Registration isn’t required and all are welcome.
