Nimbus Dance brings its signature blend of the physically jaw-dropping and the genuinely touching to the Morris Museum on Saturday, May 22 at 2:00 PM. The centerpiece is Peter/The Wolf, a reconceived take on Prokofiev’s classic in which Peter and the Wolf are two sides of the same character, with the score reinterpreted through an American folk lens by composer and multi-instrumentalist Tim Eriksen. Puppets from Vermont’s Sandglass Theater and scenic design by painter Susan Brearey round out the production. The program also includes Memo, performed by Nimbus company dancers alongside an intergenerational cast of Morristown community members. Suitable for all ages. Tickets through the Morris Museum box office at 973-971-3706.
