The Morristown Library’s newest book club skips the fiction aisle entirely. “Booked on Reality” is built for readers who’d rather spend an evening with history, science, memoirs, and the occasional mind-bending true story than with made-up ones. It meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the F.M. Kirby Gallery, and June’s pick is Michael Lewis’s “Who is Government,” a collection where Lewis and his favorite writers profile people doing genuinely surprising work inside the federal bureaucracy: a former coal miner saving lives one mine roof at a time, an IRS agent who sounds like he belongs in a crime novel, and more. Refreshments are provided, and reserved copies are waiting at the Circulation Desk.
