The Morristown Library is launching a new non-fiction book club, and the first pick is a good one. “Booked on Reality” meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the F.M. Kirby Gallery, and the June 10th kickoff tackles Michael Lewis’s “Who is Government,” a collection where Lewis recruited his favorite writers to profile people doing unexpected, quietly consequential work in federal service. Think a former coal miner redesigning mine roofs, an IRS agent who sounds like he wandered out of a crime novel, and the person who turned the National Cemetery Administration into a model of operational excellence. Refreshments are provided, and you can reserve a copy at the Circulation Desk.
