The Morristown Library is launching “Booked on Reality,” a new non-fiction book club for readers who want actual conversation about history, science, memoirs, and the like, not just a polite nod across a table. It meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the F.M. Kirby Gallery, and the June 10th debut pick is Michael Lewis’s “Who is Government,” a collection where Lewis recruited his favorite writers to profile people doing surprisingly compelling work inside the federal bureaucracy. Think a former coal miner saving lives underground, an IRS agent who reads like crime fiction, and a cemetery administrator who somehow out-managed every private-sector rival. Refreshments are provided, and reserved copies are waiting at the Circulation Desk.
