Morristown Library’s newest book club skips the fiction aisle entirely. “Booked on Reality” is built for readers who’d rather spend an evening with history, science, memoirs, and the occasional government bureaucrat who turns out to be quietly heroic. The club meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the F.M. Kirby Gallery, and this first session digs into Michael Lewis’s “Who is Government,” a collection where Lewis recruited his favorite writers to profile the people actually doing the work inside federal agencies. Coal miners turned safety crusaders, IRS agents who read like crime fiction, cemetery administrators who somehow run the tightest ship in the country. Refreshments are provided, and you can grab a reserved copy at the Circulation Desk.
