The September pick for the Morning Book Club is Alex Michaelides’s “The Silent Patient,” a thriller that opens with a painter shooting her husband five times in the face and then refusing to say a single word about it. It’s the kind of book that makes you miss your stop on the train. The group meets in the Lower Level Meeting Room on Thursday, September 10 from 10 to 11 a.m., and it’s open to everyone, not just Morristown or Morris Township residents. Copies are held at the main circulation desk, and you’re welcome to show up even if you didn’t finish. Questions go to [email protected] with “Morning Book Club” in the subject line.
