Kaliane Bradley’s “The Ministry of Time” is the kind of book that sounds like three genres walked into a bar: time travel, workplace comedy, and a romance that has no business being as affecting as it is. The premise drops historical “expats” into the present day under government supervision, and one civil servant ends up essentially babysitting a man from the past while asking big questions about what we owe each other. The Morning Book Club meets Saturday, June 6 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Lower Level Meeting Room at the Morristown Library. It’s open to everyone, no residency required, and you’re welcome even if you only made it halfway through. Copies are held at the main circulation desk.
