The Morning Book Club is tackling Kaliane Bradley’s “The Ministry of Time” on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Lower Level Meeting Room at the Morristown and Morris Township Library, 1 Miller Rd. The novel follows a civil servant recruited by a government ministry that’s testing whether humans (and the fabric of space-time itself) can handle time travel, with historical “expats” along for the ride. It’s part romance, part sci-fi, part bureaucratic comedy, and the source description calls it “feverishly fun,” which is high praise from a book jacket. The club is open to everyone, residency aside, and you’re welcome even if you only made it halfway through. Copies are held at the main circulation desk. Just ask a librarian.
