The Morning Book Club tackles Gary Shteyngart’s “Super Sad True Love Story” on Thursday, October 8, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Lower Level Meeting Room at the Morristown Library. The novel follows Lenny Abramov, a book-loving, cholesterol-rich sad sack trying to hold onto love and meaning while America spectacularly falls apart around him. It’s funny, bleak, and uncomfortably close to a news feed you’ve already scrolled today. The club is open to everyone, Morris Township resident or not, and you’re welcome even if you only made it halfway through. Copies are waiting at the main circulation desk. Questions go to [email protected] with “Morning Book Club” in the subject line.
