Morning Book Club: "Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman
Meet Eleanor Oliphant: She struggles with appropriate social skills and tends to say exactly what she’s thinking. Nothing is missing in her carefully timetabled life of avoiding social interactions, where weekends are punctuated by frozen pizza, vodka, and phone chats with Mummy.…
The Morning Book Club tackles Gail Honeyman’s “Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine” on Thursday, July 9, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Lower Level Meeting Room at Morristown Library. Eleanor is a woman whose weekend social calendar consists of frozen pizza, vodka, and calls with Mummy, so she fits right in here (we’re not judging). The club is open to everyone, resident or not, and you’re welcome even if you didn’t finish the book. Copies are held at the main circulation desk, so just ask a librarian. Questions? Email [email protected] with “Morning Book Club” in the subject line.
