Mickey Waring is leading a puppet-making workshop for kids ages 8 to 12 on Saturday, November 14, 2026, and the premise is exactly as good as it sounds: cardboard, paper, boxes, wooden spoons, and a pile of mixed media walk into a room, and ten kids walk out with fully imagined characters ready to star in stories only they could tell. It’s a drop-off program, so parents get a breather while the young creators do the heavy lifting. Spots are capped at ten, and registration closes November 9, so this one rewards the organized among us. Check the Morristown Green listing for pricing and sign-up details.
