The Morristown Library’s Images of Conflict Film Series rolls on July 16 with Victory (1981), the WWII classic where a squad of Allied POWs faces off against the German national team in a soccer match that doubles as an escape plan. It’s exactly as gloriously improbable as it sounds. The screening starts at 6:30 p.m. in the lower-level Meeting Room at 1 Miller Rd, and the library notes films begin on time given their length, so don’t be the person shuffling to a seat during the opening credits.
