Catherine Sanderson, a psychology professor at Amherst College named one of the country’s top 300 professors by the Princeton Review, brings her empirical research on arts and well-being to Morris Museum’s Breakfast University series on January 12, 2027. The talk covers how museum visits reduce anxiety and loneliness, how looking at art can dial down stress and boost the immune system, and how making art sharpens cognition and life satisfaction.
