The New Jersey Symphony is bringing the full film to Mayo Performing Arts Center on May 20, 2027 at 7:00 p.m., with John Williams’ Oscar-winning score performed live as “A New Hope” plays on screen. It’s the 50th anniversary of the movie that made every kid in 1977 want a lightsaber, and the GRAMMY and Emmy Award-winning orchestra under Music Director Xian Zhang is the right ensemble to do it justice. Tickets run $62 to $130 (all-in pricing, so no surprise fees at checkout). Grab them through Mayo PAC or by calling 1.800.255.3476.
