Gil Shaham is one of those violinists whose name on a marquee makes people actually check their calendars, and on February 21, 2027 at 2:00 p.m., he’s bringing that talent to Mayo Performing Arts Center for an afternoon with the New Jersey Symphony. The program is a full meal: Dvořák’s Violin Concerto (his only one, packed with Bohemian personality) alongside the Carnival Overture and Brahms’ Symphony No. 3, with conductor Xian Zhang on the podium.
