The Morris Museum screens “Manet from the Royal Academy” on Wednesday, April 14, 2027 at 2:00 PM, with art expert Tim Marlow guiding viewers through Manet’s portraits, a side of his work that tends to get overshadowed by the bigger-headline pieces. About half of Manet’s output was portraiture, and the film weaves that into a biography of the man and a look at 19th-century Parisian society, plus a behind-the-scenes peek at the Royal Academy exhibition itself. Bonus extras (deleted scenes, a director interview) sweeten the deal. Ticket prices include a non-refundable $3.00 service fee; call 973-971-3706 for phone purchases.
