The man who painted his mother and called it “Arrangement in Grey and Black” was clearly not interested in playing by anyone else’s rules. This September 16th screening at the Morris Museum brings an Exhibition on Screen documentary about James McNeill Whistler, timed to a major retrospective at Tate Britain.
