Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies

@ Frelinghuysen Arboretum

June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.

June is prime butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is about as good a place as any to chase them down with a camera. The idea is straightforward: bring the family, hunt for blooms and butterflies across the grounds, snap your photos, and finish the hunt to earn a prize. It runs 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, so there’s plenty of window to work at whatever pace your crew moves (leisurely stroller pace or full sprint, no judgment from us). Check the Morris County Parks listing for registration details, costs, and anything else we couldn’t squeeze out of the calendar page.
