Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies
June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.
June is peak butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is running this self-guided photo scavenger hunt all month long so your family can make the most of it. Grab your phone or camera, track down butterflies and the blooms that host them, and finish the hunt for a prize. It runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 24th, which gives you plenty of time to spot a swallowtail, photograph a coneflower, and still argue about whose photo was better on the drive home. Check the Morris County Parks listing for any registration details we’re too small to have dug up.
