Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies

@ Frelinghuysen Arboretum

June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.

June is peak butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is making a strong case for the best possible way to spend it. The premise is straightforward: bring the family, hunt for blossoms and butterflies with camera in hand, and finish the scavenger hunt to claim a prize. It runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 24th, which gives you plenty of window to spot every color a butterfly can pull off, drag the kids away from the snack bag, and still make it home for dinner. Check the Morris County Parks listing for registration details and anything else we missed.
