Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies
June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.
June is peak butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is leaning into that hard. On June 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can wander the grounds hunting for blooms and butterflies, snap photos along the way, and turn in a completed scavenger hunt for a prize. It’s the kind of activity that keeps kids focused long enough for adults to notice the flowers, which, if you’ve been to Frelinghuysen in early summer, is saying something. Check the Morris County Parks listing for registration details, cost, and anything else we’d only be guessing at.
