Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies

@ Frelinghuysen Arboretum

June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.

June is peak butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is about as good a place as any to prove it. On June 20th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, families can wander the grounds spotting butterflies and the flowers that keep them around, all while working through a photo scavenger hunt. Finish the hunt and you’ll walk away with a prize, which is more than we can say for most Saturday afternoon arguments about where to park. The Morris County Parks listing has the details on cost and registration, so check there before you head out.
